| Ever wonder why God blesses us sooo much? I mean, I know God loves us, but man, it just blows my mind how while I am still playing around in life, struggling to give myself to him completely, he still chooses to bless me out of absolute, pure love! I just can't comprehend it.
Also friends, thank you for all of your prayers and encouragment throughout this semester, it goes a long way! I am about a week and a half away from being done with the fire academy, though I am all done with my testing! Just a few more advanced training stuff, then we're done. Anywho, though I will not be working at GLM this summer, I am still looking forward to y'all coming back to the area! | | |
| Wow, I almost did it again, a month w/out xanga. And this time I didnt even try. Anyway, life is crazy, I apologize for my lack of posting, though I'm sure you have been able to make it without it. So, for the past couple of weeks my life has been consumed by studying and work, which is pretty typicle I know, but it's been like hardcore lately. Litterally, work and studying. It's been good tho, Im learning a lot. The Lord is teaching me what hard work really is, and Im also learning how to depend solely on Him, because thats the only way Im making it.
So, in light of this, I could use some prayer. I have one week before the Academy final, and then the State final. I have a lot of work to do before then and I feel like im begining to loose my focus and its getting a little discouraging. This is really pushing me in a way I have never been pushed before and I am trying to use this for the glory of God as best I can, but its not always clear how to do that. So, it's all in the Lords hands. Also, unfortunately, I won't be working at camp this summer and at this point dont have a job lined up and the time to find one just isn't there. This too I know the Lord will provide!
God is continuelly blessing me though and for that I am grateful. Thanks for being there for me friends!!!

| tiring day...we had a call this afternoon for a "child choking". It turned out to be a sweet lil' 14 month old baby girl. The drive to the scene was a bit nerve wrecking, but by the time I got there the lil' one was runnin around and just as smiley as could be! God rocks! I also applied at the Chicago fire dept., not that I plan on ever getting a job there, but I figure if that's where God wants me, than he'll give me a job. That's it! | | |
